Morgan Tilton

Adventure JournalistMorgan Tilton covers outdoor narratives specializing in travel, history, human endurance, inclusivity, and industry news. She is a recipient of more than a dozen North American Travel Journalists Association awards including accolades for “Wild & Broken: A First SUP Descent of Utah’s Escalante River,” an essay, featured in SUP Magazine and Men’s Journal, about her inaugural 100-mile paddle down the rigorous, remote waterway with four friends. When she’s not recovering from expeditions and field research, Morgan explores the mountains of her backyard in Southwest Colorado, where she grew up and lives today, across all four seasons. In hand with the festival, she’s elated to help others weave creative writing with their walks through the wondrous wildflowers and humbling peaks. Her work is featured in more than 80 publications.
