Jannette Runge

Backcountry Photograph with Jan Runge

Jannette Runge is a 37-year resident of Crested Butte. She has been photographing the backcountry of the Elk Mountains for over 26 years. Jannette is known to be in the backcountry with her horse camping and photographing some of our region’s greatest treasures. Jannette is known for her wildflower photography, and has been published in many national and regional publications: “Where the Road Ends” and “Wild About Wildflowers”. Teaching photography for the Wildflower Festival is one of her passions.
