Sara works as a Research Associate at Colorado State University’s Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory, and she is a graduate student in the Earth Sciences Watershed Program. Since completing her master’s degree in butterfly ecology and conservation, Sara has worked on a variety of research and teaching projects involving Colorado’s native wildflowers and butterflies. Specifically, Sara is interested in methods for field data collection, distributions of native and non-native species, and patterns of natural and human disturbances in mountain ecosystems. Sara’s latest projects focus on encouraging public participation in science.
