Ceci Rigby is a Master’s student in the Plant Biology and Conservation Program at Northwestern University and the Chicago Botanic Garden. For her thesis, she is studying bumble bees at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, particularly how the abiotic and biotic environment shape the way they feed themselves. She is interested in how we can use both scientific and artistic ways of knowing to better understand the world. When not working on her thesis, she is an avid reader, book collector, photographer, and lover of film and music
