Karen moved to Crested Butte a few years ago from Connecticut. When she retired from a software design career, she became certified in Herbal Medicine. With a passion for herbal remedies, she is now learning the benefits that Colorado wild flowers have to offer. Karen was trained to be a wildflower tour guide at Rocky Mountain Biological Labs and is also a docent at Judd Falls. During the winter, Karen is an alpine ski instructor at CBMR. She is an avid photographer, hiker, and yoga enthusiast.
