We Received a Grant!
We are excited to announce that together with the Crested Butte Botanic Gardens, we have been awarded $2,000 toward our brand-new Depot Garden, thanks to The People and Pollinators Action Network (PPAN)’s Protect Our Pollinators Habitat Fund!
The People and Pollinators Action Network (PPAN) promotes pollinator-friendly land management and landscaping practices through education, engagement, and advocacy to preserve biodiversity and safeguard public health. PPAN is dedicated to creating healthy, sustainable ecosystems where people and pollinators can thrive now and for generations to come.
PPAN’s Protect Our Pollinators Habitat Fund is a small grants program offering financial and educational resources to community organizations, businesses, governments, schools, farms, Indigenous Nations, public housing, and other institutions to support the development of healthy pollinator habitat. Through collaboration with pollinator and habitat experts, they provide support to successful applicants. This program is backed by the Colorado Pollinator License Plate Fund and other designated donations.
