George Delaney (he/they) is a trans movement practitioner, researcher, artist, and teacher. He was born and raised in, and is currently based out of the unceded land of the Nuche, Tsis tsis’tas, and Hinono’ei Peoples, otherwise known as Denver, CO. He has 25 years of experience dancing, 10 years of experience practicing yoga, and 4 years of experience teaching. He received a BFA in Dance (& Math) from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and a 300 HR Yoga teacher training through the Perri Institute of Mind and Body.
George was fortunate to make regular trips to Crested Butte as a kid growing up, and the beauty of the land no doubt impacted his desire to develop skills that study nature from the inside out. He is proud to be the son of Dana and Jeff Delaney, both climate activists in the Gunnison Valley. Jeff also leads hikes for the Wildflower festival that explores the relationship between geology and the flowers.
