Greta Schoonover

Greta has lived in the Colorado Rocky Mountains since 1983.  She currently resides in Crested Butte.  Greta is an avid outdoors – woman with passions for skiing of all sorts, mountain biking and hiking/exploring her backyard for magnificent wildflowers.

Greta has owned a coffee/ice cream shop and managed ski shops in various ski towns.

Currently, she works at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory Visitor Center. Here she greets people from all over the world and educates them with important scientific research studies done at the lab. Daily tours of science, history and wildflowers of the Gothic area are lead by Greta and others from the RMBL Visitor Center.

Greta is also a tour guide for the CB Wildflower Festival.
