Zach was born and raised in Colorado. He He moved to the Gunnison Valley in 2004 to attend Western State University. He graduated in 2009 with a BFA in Art. An avid lover of the outdoors, his adventures help indicate his art. Many times he can be found on the ski slopes or mountain bike trails with a pen and sketchbook in hand. A Plien air painter also when the weather allows, He has taught many classes for the Center for the Arts and continues to do so today. Zach is also a member of the Artists of Crested Butte.
