Peggy has had a lifelong appreciation of “playing” outdoors and believes in nurturing and honoring a sense of place through basket weaving, growing herbs, building labyrinths and photographing nature through all seasons. She recently retired from teaching high school Photography/Art in Chester County Pennsylvania. Since her grandchildren live in Gunnison she has been spending more time in Colorado. She enjoys working with historic/alternative photographic processes as well as digital often combining them. Peggy holds a BFA in Photography and MFA in Education from the University of the Arts. She loves teaching and learning in a community of artists of all ages. Her work includes hand-colored Holga photos of Crested Butte that can been viewed on her website.
