Jacquelyn Fitzgerald

Jacquelyn Fitzgerald is a PhD Candidate in the Plant Biology and Conservation Program at Northwestern University and the Chicago Botanic Garden. For her doctoral research she studies bumble bees at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, focusing specifically on bumble bee vulnerability to climate change. Her previous research has included work on rare plant conservation, native bees in prairie restorations, and the effects of climate change on insect communities. Outside of research, she enjoys hiking, biking, reading science fiction, and playing the banjo. Her website is www.jacquelynfitzgerald.com.
